OUR PURPOSE
A place for Islamic faith & learning
Seeking knowledge with reverence, clarity and care.
Ansar al-Husain is an independent English Islamic learning resource rooted in the Twelver Shia tradition and the religious heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.
What you will find here
The Qur’an, salah, du‘a and remembrance are at the center of this website. Dedicated sections introduce the Ahl al-Bayt, Imam Husayn and Karbala, the Islamic year, and religious learning in the United States. The study library offers longer readings to support those subjects.
How we approach religious content
Our original summaries and reflections link to the texts and organizations that inform them. We distinguish Qur’anic translation, scholarly writing, historical description and personal reflection. Quoted translations name the translator. We avoid invented narrations, unattributed sayings, sectarian polemics and claims of religious authority.
The writing is AI-assisted and checked against the linked sources. It has not been reviewed or approved by a qualified religious scholar. For religious rulings, use the official sources of the jurist you follow or ask a qualified teacher. Browse our sources and reading resources →
An independent website
This site is not a mosque, seminary or charitable organization. It does not operate prayer gatherings, provide scholar consultations, or accept religious dues. The Islamic institutions we link to provide their own services independently; a link does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
The name and the historical domain
The website takes its name from Imam Husayn, peace be upon him. This is a new, independently operated resource on a previously used domain. We do not represent the former domain’s publishers, forum, members or institutions. Historical URLs remain useful where possible, but their replacement reading guides are identified and do not claim to restore former books or recordings.
Arabic typography
The Amiri typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.
